Zoll Vineyards planted roots in Dutton in 2018 with several acres of grapes, blackberries, & farm to table gardens as Gloucester's first winery. Zoll Vineyards is a chef owned winery that focuses on food and beverage pairings in the tasting room. Chef Zoll, owner, pastry chef, and vintner emeritus has created award winning wine, sangria, cider, and mead since 2005.

The tasting room menu and patio menu are available until 7:30 pm Wednesday - Sunday.

HAVE YOU HEARD??

Gloucester Pancake House is now open. The restaurant is located at 6690 Sutton Road next to the Gloucester-Mathews Human Society.

They celebrated their Grand Opening on October 26th and will be serving breakfast and lunch.

Coastal Kitchen is now open at their new location!

The establishment relocated to York River Crossing Shopping Center. The restaurant will be open from 7am to 7pm daily with the option of breakfast all day!

Small Business Owners: Help Improve What’s Known About Small Businesses

Owners and key financial decisionmakers of for-profit businesses, share your recent experiences. Did your business seek financing such as loans or lines of credit in the last 12 months? How would you rate the financial condition of your business?

The Virginia SBDC Network is partnering with the Federal Reserve to conduct a Small Business Credit Survey. By taking the survey, you contribute to data that directly informs the Fed, federal government agencies, service providers, policymakers, and others—ultimately benefitting your business and other businesses like yours. Take the 10-minute survey now.

The survey is open to businesses currently in operation, those recently closed, and those about to launch. All responses are confidential.

The survey closes November 4, 2022.

SMALL BUSINESS INCENTIVES

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors, Economic Development Authority and Economic Development Department are dedicated to promoting and improving the economic health and quality of life in Gloucester. These incentive programs are here to support, promote and encourage small businesses by providing assistance with interior and exterior improvements, advertising and website design work.

Property Improvement: Assistance with renovations and build-out for new and expanding businesses. Projects covered in this incentive include new floors, ceiling tiles, windows, doors, painting and other interior improvements.

Facade Improvement: This program is designed to provide assistance to property or business owners for exterior façade improvements, new signage or landscaping.

Co-op Advertising Grant: This program supports advertising and promotional activities.

E-Commerce Matching Grant Program: Offers aid with new website design and development.

All businesses applying for Economic Development Incentives will need to submit a completed and signed IRS form W9.
