The Listos California Community Resilience Campaign based at the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) aims to reach 500,000 vulnerable individuals with disaster preparedness and training materials through community outreach to provide resources and assist individual preparedness. SSF will leverage current resources and programs to provide outreach and assistance within the community to individuals and families, including to: provide shelter support and resources to local partners, reaching the population that is utilizing shelters, providing physical access points to the information; and providing ongoing online materials, like Disaster Preparedness Resources that can be accessed by persons experiencing homelessness, or those assisting them, in a location that is already being accessed. We look forward to sharing more in the coming months. |
