Teen Leader Essential Series

We are excited that our Teen Leadership Essential Series has kicked off with such strong interest! Up to 75 people have registered to attend the past two workshops; unfortunately, very few people have shown up. We have sent reminders via email and have now added an option to get reminders via Remind text.

It is very difficult for our State Ambassadors to properly plan for an interactive experience when the number attending is significantly different from the number registered. Please make every effort to attend. The State Ambassadors have worked hard to make these workshops beneficial, relevant and interactive for young leaders and their advisors to gain the skills they need to succeed.

Please join us for our next workshop-

National 4-H Conference Applications Close November 30

What makes the National 4-H Conference different?

  • This is the only 4-H Conference hosted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Known as “the Secretary’s Conference,” the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), has administered the National 4-H Conference on behalf of the Secretary of Agriculture in Washington, DC since 1927.
  • 4-H delegates from every state, territory and Canada participate in conference roundtables and present the youth perspective on a range of issues directly with federal partner agencies and congressional committees.
  • Conference travel and expenses are covered by a generous grant from the Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Foundation.

For application requirements and to apply, please see the National 4-H Conference event page.
