Congratulations Confirmands!

Congratulations to these 25 youth who affirmed their baptism to conclude their confirmation journey. Now comes the next steps in living in faith. We are so proud of you all!

Now Showing: "Home Alone"

November 17, 6-8:30pm

ALL ages are invited for Now Showing! Join together for a themed fun night of snacks, "Home Alone", and friends! Wait until you see our new 150" movie screen!

Those 5th grade and younger need to have an adult attend with them.

$5 person, $20 max/household. Includes: movie, pizza, ice cream and more!

Wear your comfy pajamas and bring a sleeping bag, air mattress or some other item to cozy up on.

Sign up on the CYF Board in the rotunda or by emailing Leisha at ltays@oursaviourslc.org so we can plan for food. See you there!

Turkey Basket Colletion for NACE

Collecting items through November 8

For Thanksgiving, Our Saviour’s Confirmation Youth will be assembling Turkey Baskets for N.A.C.E. (North Anoka County Emergency) Food Shelf. The goal is to assemble 30 complete baskets to provide a Thanksgiving meal for a family in need. You can help by contributing items! Check out all the details by clicking the button here.

First Communion Instruction & Celebration

We practice open communion at Our Saviour’s. If you feel your child is ready, please sign up regardless of age. Instruction is geared toward 2nd-5th grade but will be adapted for the ages that are registered.

Class: Saturday, November 11, 9-11am

Celebration: Wednesday, November 22, 6:30pm

Silent Auction Coming!

CYF (Children, Youth and Family) Ministries is hosting a silent auction!

The auction will take place in the Gathering Space at Our Saviour’s the evening of our Thanksgiving Eve Worship Service.

Donate a basket/item:

Please consider making a donation of an item/basket/goods/etc. Those items should be dropped off at Our Saviour’s during business hours between now and Tuesday, November 21st.

Come and bid!:

Then come and bid on Wednesday, November 22nd, 6-8pm (Bidding closed 6:30 until worship is complete).

The Great Bible Live Challenge!

Bible Live kids! You won't want to miss Bible Live on Sunday, November 5th!

Our skit on the 5th will be recorded and then submitted for the Great Bible Live Challenge of 2023. Then on Sunday, November 12th, 9am, the adults in the congregation will be learning the same skit! During lunch on the 12th, both videos will be shown and voted on. We got this! Let's go Bible Live!

Thanksgiving Week - No Regular Programming

There will be no regular Kids' Ministries programming on Sunday, November 26th. There will be Kids Time during the message in the 10:15am worship service.

Mark Your Calendars for Serving Dinner!

Any adult (18+) family member of students is welcome to fulfill this role! Please plan to be at OSLC by 5pm to serve from 5-5:50pm. Then from 5:50-6pm to sell any potential leftovers.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled time, please try to find another family to help out in your place.

It’s time for some Jackbox Games and Nintendo Switch on the 150” Big Screen, a church-wide game of Sardines & more!

We’ll enjoy pizza, popcorn, beverages, games, friends and tons of fun!

Bring your friends and a fully charged smart device to use as a controller for Jackbox games.
