We are excited to announce that Shannon Duncan has joined the NCIL team as the new Targeted Technical Assistance Coordinator! Before joining NCIL, Shannon was the sole proprietor of Dyslexia Navigation Associates, delivering research-based reading instruction to adults and children with dyslexia. She is a founding member of Decoding Dyslexia Virginia, a grassroots movement focused on linking families to resources, increasing awareness, and engaging decision-makers. Her passion for equitable access to literacy has fueled her contributions to federal and state policies related to dyslexia and literacy laws. Shannon is a mom to 3 children, one with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD. She brings 13 years of experience in literacy policy, advocacy, and intervention and will be a valuable addition to the NCIL team!
