November 2023 Newsletter

To give aid and encouragement in promoting the education and welfare of at-risk children in the state of Georgia.

Hello Circle Members!

As we reflect on the whirlwind of October, I am eagerly anticipating the holiday season, a TIME to cherish moments with family and friends.

A heartfelt thank you to Kristen Graham for leading our successful golf tournament at Indian Hills Country Club. Gratitude extends to sponsors and volunteers for their invaluable contributions. The day was nothing short of perfect, with beautiful weather and cheerful players.

In October, our members actively engaged in various activities, including:

  • Assisting at the Fall Festival held at the City of Refuge, where they supervised event activities like as pumpkin decorating, bobbing for apples and playing games
  • Sponsoring a lively table at City of Refuge's Trunk or Treat event, complete with Western Wear, candy, and an entertaining game.
  • Attending our Fall General Meeting at Baraonda in Sandy Springs.
  • Exploring Oakland Cemetery and enjoying a delightful dinner at Agave.
  • Embarking on a meaningful pilgrimage to Tallulah Falls School, the place where our circle was founded.

I am reminded TIME and TIME again how lucky I am to be a part of this Circle of women.

Additionally, our attention now moves towards our gala scheduled for March 16, 2023. Linda, Betts and Mary Beth have been diligently working behind the scenes to ensure its success.

As we move forward, I am filled with gratitude for the strength of our Circle. Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication.

Warm regards,

Kristin Gross Harbison

Access the Directory online with new Password! The membership directory of active Circle members can now be viewed on our website. For the privacy of all members, the directory is password protected. You can access the directory under the membership tab on the website.

I'm thrilled to announce that we will have an updated directory on our website by November 15th. We will continue to keep it current as members renew their dues and new members join. A printed version will be available at our Winter General Meeting in February.

  • Click this link to get started: https://www.circle4children.org/payment.html
  • Select 2023-2024 Membership Dues and click "Add to Cart"
  • This will open a PayPal window. You can either continue to check out from there, or close the window to add additional donations to your cart (like Auction buying fund or children's needs donations). CLOSING THE WINDOW WITH YOUR CART WILL NOT REMOVE YOUR DUES.
