Dear friends and supporters,
It's the first day of November, and our youth ensemble students are preparing new sets to perform at the annual Youth Ensemble Concert on Saturday, November 18th at 4pm at the Celtic Junction Arts Center. The concert, which I guarantee will brighten your week, will be live and streaming online. $5 tickets are on sale now at the link below.
This Friday, we are excited to be hosting an event in the Scanlan Music Hall: the Fall Irish Symposium with poets Eamonn Wall, Daniel Tobin & historian Greg Koos. This program is presented by the Center of Irish Studies at the University of St. Thomas and the Minnesota Center for the Book with music provided by the Center for Irish Music. There's also an excellent Scottish fiddle concert on tonight at Celtic Junction Arts Center.
Our Fall fundraising drive is kicking off with a letter, followed closely by Give to the Max Day on November 16th. If you have daytime availability, please join us for lunchtime tunes at noon in the Scanlan Music Hall that day. You'll also get a sneak peak at our new handicapped accessible door, which should be fully-functional in a matter of weeks.
Enjoy the last few leaves of fall colors, and I hope to see you soon!
