Families are Invited to Attend the

STEM Festival in Manchester on November 16

Families are invited to attend the Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival on Thursday, November 16 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center in Manchester. The festival is FREE and open to the public.

Organized like a street festival or county fair, visitors stroll from activity to activity at their leisure. While the STEM activities are designed for kids in grades PreK-8, all ages will enjoy the hands-on exhibits. Approximately 20 organizations will feature interactive STEM activities for students and their families. Attendees may conduct amazing science experiments, explore the solar system in a digital planetarium, drive robots, perform surgery with a Laparoscopic Surgical Trainer, and much more!

The goals of the festival are to promote, inspire and engage youth in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) opportunities and to introduce youth and their parents to STEM careers.

Register for the STEM Festival in advance! Fill out the form and bring your QR Code the day of the event to scan in at the registration table and enjoy the fun, STEM-filled activities!
