HOPE = ACCESSIBLE MENTAL HEALTH CARE, DELIVERED WITH UNDERSTANDING, COMPASSION, AND RESPECT.

Lakes Region Mental Health Center is dedicated to providing accessible and high-quality integrated mental and physical health care to those in need. Our mission is to create wellness and understanding within the communities we serve by advocating for respect, integrity, stewardship, excellence, and diversity. This holiday season, please consider giving the gift of hope to your family members, friends, relatives, and neighbors who are seeking help for mental illness. Your generous gift will help us provide critical services that thousands of people in our community rely upon each year.

  • Integrated care in action: our nursing staff worked with primary care providers to establish plans for integrated care and ensure the best outcomes for a shared patient.

  • The Critical Time Intervention (CTI) Care Transition Team has been successful in assisting 3 clients to complete their goals and graduate from the program.

  • The Neurological Treatment Team successfully assisted an unhoused client to secure a home in an assisted living facility, so they could be near and receive the support of their family.

  • A few patients working with the Supportive Employment Team successfully secured employment and are working for the first time!

  • 3 Clinical staff members from the Child & Family Team completed an intensive 5-day long Modular Approach to Therapy for Children (MATCH) training.

  • Clinical Staff hosted "Art at Opechee" on October 9th, an opportunity to allow kids to produce art reflecting their emotions, feelings, and experiences.

  • Therapists have worked with several school-resistant youth to re-integrate them fully back to school following COVID-related anxiety.

On October 24th, we had the amazing opportunity to welcome Sarah Blacker for a performance to benefit LRMHC at the Colonial Theatre. Following her performance, she participated in a panel discussion alongside Shannon Laine and Wendy Chase to discuss the impact of music and art therapy, along with the importance of advocacy and the legislative process. Thank you to all who attended this powerful event!
