"The wind that makes music in November corn is in a hurry. The stalks hum, the loose husks whisk skyward in half-playing swirls, and the wind hurries on... A tree tries to argue, bare limbs waving, but there is no detaining the wind."

~Aldo Leopold

Westfield Writers Group

November 16 at 1:00 PM (SPECIAL DATE!)

Prompt for November : Your most memorable, unusual or disastrous Thanksgiving Day. Do you aim for the Normal Rockwell spread, something casual or reservations at your favorite restaurant? How has the holiday changed for you?

Wanted: Writers or want-to-be writers who have a story or memoir they would like to write, an interest in different styles of writing, a wish to interact with other writers and a desire to write in a non-judgmental environment.

This is a 'just-for-fun' group. We're not professional writers. The intent is not to teach you to write but to encourage you to write something each month. Prompts are constructed with the hope that you will be inspired to write on a broad range of topics.

Email librarian@wwpl.lib.in.us to be put on the email list for meeting reminders and for the writing prompts we will be using each month.

Visit our website for details. Library Board will meet in-person and via Zoom.
