November 2024 Newsletter

A Message from your Executive Director

Happy November!

Well, here we are…. Two months left of 2024 and a new year of amazing opportunities and challenges await us in 2025. As I began preparing for November, I remembered a fun activity I did one year with my students to remind us that no matter our struggles or setbacks, there is something we can do each day to help us propel in a positive and forward motion. My class created a compilation of gratitude cards and shared them with others throughout the month. It was fun listening to them reflect on the difference it made in their daily personal interactions with others and how they thought of themselves. While we are all not able to get together and create cards and reflect on our experiences together, we can collectively challenge ourselves to find ways to share thoughts of gratitude with ourselves and others. So here is my challenge to you for November. Use the calendar below to not only remind yourself of opportunities to show gratitude, but to empower others to find them as well.
