Message from Dean Egerstedt

There is always a lot going on in the UCI Samueli School of Engineering and this past month was particularly intense. We kicked off the annual Beall-Butterworth competition in which our students imagine and prototype new designs with an eye toward commercialization; welcomed parents to campus as part of the Anteater Family Weekend; celebrated the 25th anniversary of the transformational naming gift that turned us into the Samueli School of Engineering; and released the 2023-24 Annual Review Magazine, focused on how research goes from "Lab to Market."

Best,

Magnus Egerstedt, Ph.D.
