November 2024 Book News

A note from Mary

November is here and Thanksgiving Day is fast approaching. It is time to do some holiday shopping! Let me know if I can help you or order books for you.

I'm helping our local Christmas Mother again this year (I think this is our 8th year!) by collecting new books for their book distribution in early December. They give away thousands of books to children in our community every December. Come in and buy a book for a child -- it might be the first one they have ever owned.

TLB will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday. I'll be spending it with my husband and children. I am fortunate to have them and grateful for them and for all of you.

Happy Thanksgiving, I hope you have a peaceful and restful day,

Mary

Small Business Saturday

This is one of my favorite days of the year! It's all about small, local businesses, loyal customers, and supporting your community. As always, TLB will have fun snacks, drawings, and give-aways to make the day special. Plan to stop by to show your support and get a jump on holiday shopping!

TLB is once again helping our local Christmas Mother this November by collecting new books for kids in our community. This is a wonderful time of year to remember members of our community in need. Purchase a book with us to support this great organization that puts books in the hands of children. We will give you 10% off any book purchased for the Christmas Mother.

Reading is a life-long gift!

Last day to participate with us is Nov. 30.
