CancerCare's Stories of Help and Hope

Throughout the year, CancerCare presents the stories of people who have cancer, their caregivers and more.

In a recent episode of our Cancer Out Loud podcast, uterine cancer survivor Muriel opens up about the emotions and challenges following her diagnosis, the importance of self-advocacy and a support network and gives advice for those newly diagnosed with cancer.

She now shares her story with many others in our Stories of Help and Hope.

Celebrating National Family Caregivers Month

Year after year, day after day, people with cancer receive invaluable support from their caregivers, who are often devoted members of their family.

November is National Family Caregivers Month, a time to give needed attention to their selfless work. CancerCare honors everything they do - the prescriptions organized, appointments attended, the household chores done, the emotional support given and much more.

CancerCare is proud to offer resources, support and advice to caregivers all year long. My Cancer Circle is a free and easy way to organize support and resources among friends and family.
