NOVEMBER 2024

Brantner serves on the MEDC Board of Directors as the Chairman of the Professional Development Committee and Chairman of the Missouri Economic Developer Certification (MoCED) Program. Brantner traveled to the MEDC Conference at Cape Girardeau, for educational sessions and networking. Highlights from the event included: 

• Missouri Partnership, Missouri Certified Sites programmatic updates, and tours of downtown Cape and SEMO Port Authority economic development projects
• Brantner and another member of the MoCED Core Team proctored the Missouri Certified Economic Developer (MoCED) Exam – three (3) new MoCEDs were pinned! MEDC President Dr. Carolyn Chrisman awarded the pins to the new MoCEDs!

Knob Noster's New High School Groundbreaking Ceremony

On Friday, October 11^th, Brantner attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony for Knob Noster's new High school. There was a large crowd in attendance - all excited about the future of Knob Noster School District.

Holden's Bomgaars Ribbon Cutting

The Holden Chamber of Commerce hosted a Grand Reopening event in partnership with Bomgaars on Friday, October 18th. Thanks to the great team at Bomgaars for reinvesting in Holden!

• The park will be closed to all visitors during the upcoming managed deer hunt from sunset on Friday, December 6 through sunrise on Monday, December 9.
• Spirit Trail within the park will also be closed to visitors.
