NOVEMBER 2024

Come visit!

Visit New Horizons today!

Autumn is in full swing and so is New Horizons. We have so much going on at the Center — now is a great time to visit!

The New Horizons team — our staff and our dedicated volunteers — are working hard to make the Center's programs as interesting and engaging as possible for you. That is good news — and we must be doing something right, because we are seeing more participants throughout the week. Are you one of them? If not, why not? We want you to visit us soon.

New Horizons is here for you!

We now serve sit-down, community lunches every day that we are open — five days a week most of the time. Come for one of our morning programs, enjoy lunch with friends (please sign up in advance) and stay for what is on the schedule in the afternoon. Even better, do it day after day. We are here for you. New Horizons is your community center.

Keep reading below and also refer to the calendar and website for everything going on at New Horizons in November. And remember that we will always try to welcome you via Zoom If you are unable to attend in person (if we are able — unfortunately, not every program or activity works well online).

Ready to get more involved? We always want your suggestions AND we would also like to have you as a volunteer. We could always use help for an hour or two if you are willing and able — no experience necessary! Stop by the front desk when you sign in and we can chat.

Lastly, please keep an eye out for our year end appeal — your generosity allows us to offer the many programs and services that we share with the community and to create the warm, welcoming environment that is New Horizons.

Thank you!
