Gratitude & Growth

As Thanksgiving approaches, there is no better time to reflect on the invaluable partnerships that fuel economic development across Christian County and Southwest Missouri. The work of economic development relies on collaboration across many sectors, and Show Me Christian County extends heartfelt thanks to all investors and industry partners for their dedication to fostering growth and prosperity in the region.

ICYMI: Explore Christian County

Show Me Christian County officially launched Explore Christian County on October 21, 2024, unveiling a go-to platform for visitors and locals to discover dining, shopping, accommodations, and outdoor adventures in the Ozarks. Supported by local chambers and cities, the site’s creation was inspired by a collaboration with National Geographic Traveller UK, who discovered Christian County through the Planning Ahead: Route 66 Centennial in 2026 page. This new resource highlights the unique charm and appeal of Christian County as an off-the-beaten-path destination.

With free listings and affordable advertising options, Explore Christian County helps local businesses connect with a broader audience. Community members can also submit tourism-friendly events—such as local attractions, holiday gatherings, or seasonal celebrations—using the free event submission feature. 🔗 Explore local events here and stay updated on what’s happening.
