Native American Heritage Month

Native American Heritage Month, which started off as just one day of recognition in May 1916, has lead to an entire month of celebrating the traditions and growth of its community since November 1990 (nativeamericanheritagemonth.gov).

Ocean County Library is acknowledging the month by providing resources for learning more about the culture with

 American Indian History Online.
