A Message from your Executive Director

Happy November!

As we move into November, I find myself reflecting on the incredible power of gratitude. At FYIdaho, gratitude is not just a seasonal theme, it is something we live every day through the families, youth, and community partners we serve.

I am grateful for our staff and family support partners who show up with compassion, commitment, and courage in every conversation. Their dedication helps families feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate challenges and celebrate successes. I’m also deeply thankful for the youth who share their stories and remind us that hope and resilience grow stronger when we listen to one another.

This season reminds us that gratitude connects us. It reminds us that progress happens when we lift each other up, when we pause to notice the good and express appreciation for the people walking beside us. Whether it’s a small act of kindness, a moment of encouragement, or the courage to keep going, each one makes a difference.

From all of us at FYIdaho, thank you for being part of this community. Your partnership, your stories, and your trust inspire us every day. Wishing you a season filled with warmth, reflection, and connection.

With heartfelt gratitude,

-Brenda Willson, FYIdaho Executive Director
