What a fantastic morning on Wednesday, October 22nd at our 2025 Joint Business Association Meeting held at Der Dutchman Restaurant & Bakery in Plain City!

We were honored to hear from William Murdock, Executive Director of the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, who delivered an insightful presentation on Regional Growth & Sustainability. As Central Ohio continues to grow steadily in population, the region is embracing transformational changes in mobility and infrastructure. A few key initiatives include the expansion of the John Glenn Columbus International Airport, enhanced transit options, and the potential to become a rail hub for the Midwest.

LifeBio Secures $2.9M SBIR Grant to Advance the LifeBio Memory App's Capabilities and Multi-Language Support

LifeBio, Inc. announced on October 3rd that it has secured a $2.9 million, three-year Phase IIB Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Institute on Aging (NIA) to expand its in-market HIPAA-compliant LifeBio Memory app. The grant will support new life story capabilities, commercialization, and validation of a multi-language, AI-powered reminiscence therapy platform for older adults living with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or at risk of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD).
