November 2025 Newsletter

Our change of season is definitely here. We hope you have enjoyed your summer and that it has been a fruitful time for you! As with all of life, there may have been good and also difficult things that have happened. But, if there has been difficulty, we can remember that as followers of Christ, our hope is always in Him. We know we can rest on His promises, season to season, and look to Him and His grace to bring us through. We can remember that He works all things out for our good (Romans 8:28) and that God also promises not to withhold any good thing from us when we walk with Him (Psalm 84:11). So, even with difficulty and disappointment good fruit can bear out as we follow the Lord through those times and look forward to the many good things that God has in store for us.

We just had an awesome "It's Fall Y'ALL" event at both our Brandon and Rutland locations, the quintessential mark of fall now for all of us as a church body. See below for some wonderful pictures of our time together. We are now looking forward to the approaching holiday season and giving a "heads up" for what is coming up!

A Word from Pastor Vinny

The Power of One Step

Psalm 37:23- 24

The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he

may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

We often wait for the perfect moment to start, the right season, the right finances, the right

feeling. God doesn’t wait for perfect conditions; He steps up when we step out. Peter didn’t walk on water because he had it all figured out. He walked because he took one step

toward Jesus.

Sometimes faith isn’t about knowing the whole plan, it’s about trusting the One who gave you the next step.

So, don’t underestimate what one act of obedience can do. That one step might not change

everything immediately, but it’s the start of everything changing.

It's Fall Y'ALL Block Parties

At RC Rutland and RC Brandon Locations

Roadside Chapel just finished hosting its yearly Fall Y'All event! It took place on October 18th and 19th at our two locations this year, Saturday at RC Rutland and Sunday at RC Brandon. We had a great couple of days of pony rides, bounce houses, apple-pressing cider, fall food, wagon rides, face painting, and a photo booth! Church and community members were invited to come together for this day of fun activities with an opportunity to get to know more of our community members.

RC Rutland

This is RC Rutland's second Fall Y'All event. The first one was hosted in 2024 and considered a great success. It drew between 300 to 400 people, many of whom were families. Advertising for the event was done through signage and word of mouth, but the majority of people got the message through targeted mailers. It's FAll Y'All! is considered our biggest outreach effort and this year attendance did not disappoint. According to RC Rutland Pastor Vinny Greene, this year's block party, "...was incredibly successful. We had over 500 people attending (at the Rutland location). This is the number one outreach for getting unchurched people at our church and has resulted in the most salvations out of any event that we ever do. And so it looks like as long as we can handle the amount of people that come to the property, we will do this. This is an event we will do every year."

RC Brandon

RC Brandon is a relatively new church, starting under the umbrella of Rutland's Roadside Chapel approximately one-and-a-half years ago and they have been growing from a small church with a handful of members, to a growing membership of a committed body of believers with over 60 members. Pastor Noah O'Connor of RC's Brandon location reflects on the impact of their Fall Y'All event at their location as well. "Our Fall Y'All outreach was an incredible success, with over 90 people joining us for a day of community, connection and fun!" says Pastor Noah, "It was a great reminder of what happens when the church steps out to love and serve our neighbors. At Roadside Chapel, we're committed to building thriving, healthy and local churches---right here in our own backyard."
