Dear Beloved Members, Pastors, and Supporters,
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9
Ministry is a marathon, not a sprint. There are seasons when the work is exciting and fruitful, when people respond, and God’s presence feels especially near. But there are also other seasons when the ground seems hard, progress feels slow, and discouragement knocks at the door.
If you’ve been serving faithfully—teaching, leading, visiting, praying, giving, or simply showing up—there may be times when you feel tired in the work. That’s normal. Even the strongest of us get weary. While we may get tired in the work, we should never grow tired of the work.
Be encouraged! Nothing that we do for the Lord is ever wasted. Every seed sown, every prayer prayed, every act of kindness is noticed by God. Even when no one else sees, He sees! Even when it feels like nothing is happening, God is working behind the scenes to bring about His harvest in His time.
If you’re in a weary season, take time to rest, but don’t quit. Remember who called you. Remember why you started. Remember that Jesus Himself grew weary on His journey (John 4:6), yet He kept going because of the joy set before Him.
In ministry, the reward is not always immediate, but it is certain. “In due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” That promise is for you. Keep sowing. Keep trusting. Keep serving. God’s harvest is coming.
Be Encouraged!
