It is hard to believe November is here. November is when we give thanks and appreciation. I’d like to say Thank You to everyone who has worked to make 2025 an exceptional year for the Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce. I would like to thank my fellow Board of Directors, the Chamber Staff, the Chamber Committee Chairs, our Volunteers, the Sponsors of Chamber events and all of the Chamber members. Every single one of you make our Chamber a success!
We have some upcoming events in November that should not be missed. On Thursday, November 20th, there is a Ribbon Cutting at Allegretti’s Bakery and Café from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. The ribbon cutting will take place at 4:15 pm. The Chamber’s Turkey Trot Tune-Up 5K is taking place on Sunday, November 16th in the beautiful Lisle Community Park. The event is family-friendly and is always a fun time. Race day registration starts at 7:30 am and the race begins at 9:00 am. You can visit the Chamber’s website for more information and to register to run or walk in our 5K.
I hope that you are able give thanks for all of your blessings this November and you can spend time with your friends and family and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather.

Join the Government Affairs Committee
The Chamber's Government Affairs Committee meets once a month to discuss and explore issues of interest for the communities we represent and county, state and federal issues that may affect our business community.
This month there will be a featured guest, Lisle Police Chief Michael Rodriguez. Chief Rodriguez will be there speaking on behalf of the Lisle Police Department.

AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
Debbie Pawlowicz
DPG Real Estate Agency
Debbie Pawlowicz of DPG Real Estate Agency is this month’s featured Ambassador. She has been involved with the Chamber for over 8 years. In addition to being on the Ambassador Committee, Debbie is on the Chamber’s Board of Directors as well as the Chair of the Government Affairs Committee, and she is also on the Downtown Business Council Committee. She is also the past Chair of the Lisle Area Leads Group. Debbie enjoys working with the Ambassador Committee because it helps members connect with the benefits of belonging to our Chamber. It is another way for her to stay connected and up to date on the businesses in the area whether they are existing or new businesses.
Debbie is the Broker/Owner of DPG Real Estate Agency which is located on Main Street in Lisle. DPG Real Estate recently moved from one office on Main Street into a newly renovated office on Main Street. This past September, Debbie held her 5th Anniversary Birthday Party and Ribbon Cutting for her new office location. She has worked as a successful area realtor since 1985. Aside from helping her clients sell, buy, rent residential and light commercial properties, Debbie manages their $50+ million volume business and empower their agents to achieve success while having fun.
Debbie is a long-time resident of Lisle with her husband Steve. They raised their four children here in Lisle who now live all over the world. Cherished time with family and her six adorable grandchildren or any time with friends puts a smile on Debbie's face. She also enjoys cooking, entertaining, traveling, movies, reading and volunteering. Her favorite quote is by Columnist Amy Dickinson,"We are not our best intentions. We are what we do." Debbie believes if something is truly important to you, you will make it happen. There are no excuses. Recognize that our true selves are reflected in what we actually do rather than what we merely plan or hope to do.

The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce’s Turkey Trot Tune Up 5K is coming soon. Join us at the beautiful Lisle Community Park, on Sunday morning November 16th. The race begins at 9:00a.m. Thank you to, VinFast (Chicagoland Auto Group), Chip Timing Sponsor, Platinum Sponsors Molex, LLC., Duly Health and Care, and Lisle Park District; Emerald Sponsor, Culver’s Lisle/Downers Grove; Silver Sponsors, BankFinancial, DeVry University, DnD Tranfers, Front Street Real Estate, Holistic Health Care Centers, King Chiropractic, St. Joan of Arc, WDCB 90.9 Public Radio; and Partnership Event Grant, Village of Lisle.

The 2026 Membership Directory and Community Profile will be coming out in December. We have 8,000 copies printed and distributed door-to-door throughout DuPage County, copies are mailed to our members and copies will be at Lisle Village Hall, Lisle Township, Lisle Library, Lisle Park District, and Lisle area hotels. The Chamber’s office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Friday after. Don’t forget to support your local business on Small Business Saturday and throughout the year. Registration is open for the Chamber’s Annual meeting will be December 4th being held at Limitless Dreams Events.
