Dear CIM friends,

This extended fall weather is making it hard to believe that it’s already November! Our five youth ensembles are working up their new tunes and arrangements for the annual Youth Ensemble Concert on Saturday, November 22nd at 2pm at the Celtic Junction Arts Center. Tickets are on sale now (youth 18 and under & performers are free).

We are also gearing up for the Adult Open Mic and Fall Youth Recitals on the weekend of December 5-7th when our students have an opportunity to inspire one another with their newly-learned tunes and songs. Hopefully you can join us for one of these performances.

In the meantime, keep an eye on your inboxes, Facebook and Instagram accounts for entertaining photos and reels about how the CIM is carrying out our mission of handing down the tradition during our fall drive. We always love hearing from you and your extended families and friends, so be sure to give our posts a like, share, or comment!

Finally, mark your calendars for lunchtime tunes in the Scanlan Music Hall for Give to the Max Day on November 20th from noon-1pm. Thanks for keeping the momentum up for our fall fund drive, and for supporting local traditional Irish music education.

NEW VENUE: ST. PAUL EVENT CENTER

400 Wabasha Street N, #320

Éigse [eg-shuh] is an Irish word used for festivals celebrating traditional Irish arts and culture. It is in this spirit that we gather to raise funds for The Center for Irish Music, Minnesota's only traditional Irish music school.

This year’s Gaela will be held at the St. Paul Event Center in historic downtown Saint Paul. The event includes a cocktail reception, a stellar traditional Irish music concert by Center for Irish Music instructors, a small silent auction, and a live fund-a-need auction.

Help us Play It Forward by sponsoring the event!

Visit our website for more details.

Tickets will go on sale for $125 in late November.
