This Giving Tuesday, December 2nd, there are numerous ways you can donate to support our mission to improve the quality of life for Black children and their families. With your help, BCDI-Atlanta can continue to increase at-home libraries for young children by providing culturally relevant books that reflect their identities and experiences. We are committed to advocating for a more diverse workforce, ensuring that there are more credentialed early childhood educators. Additionally, we work with families to provide access to resources that empower them and foster a thriving community.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Congratulations to Dr. James C. Young on his well-deserved induction into the NBCDI Council of Elders! We are filled with pride for the remarkable work he has accomplished and continues to lead on behalf of our Black children and families. Dr. Young has been a dedicated member of BCDI-Atlanta, pioneering impactful initiatives that uplift and empower our communities. Dr. Young, in collaboration with BCDI-Atlanta President Linda Hassan Anderson, played a crucial role in establishing the Head Start program at Clark Atlanta University. We are profoundly grateful for his ongoing commitment to the cause.

Congratulations, Dr. James C. Young, on this significant
and inspiring accomplishment!
