November 2025

Lower Providence Library News!

Happy November, Friends!

November is when we reflect on what we are thankful for, and we have quite a bit to be thankful for.

October 11 was the Third Annual Taste of Lower Providence. This year, we welcomed 14 restaurants that participated in the event and 120 attendees!

Thank you to everyone who attended the event, purchased raffle tickets, and our Sponsors who donated, all in support of the library!

The funds raised at this event each year ensure that the Lower Providence Community Library can continue serving the community we love.
We hope to see you there again next year!

This past month was also the Friends of the Library $5.00 bag book sale.

All of the funds raised by the Friends of the Library directly benefit the Lower Providence Library. Over the three-week sale, the friends raised $1,500! The money donated by friends helps us maintain our Museum Pass, hotspot, and Large Print collections.

Thank you to everyone who purchased a bag of books (or more) during the sale, and those who continue to donate their used books to the book sale.

We are so thankful for all the ways that our community continues to show up and support the library every day, and we hope that we can continue to serve and support our community for years to come!

Happy reading, and see you at the library!
