Fall brings crisp, new beginnings and all things cozy! Fall into a great book this season and log your reading on Beanstack to earn badges throughout this adult challenge. There is a challenge for teens too.

SMALL WORKS EXHIBIT IS BACK AT THE LIBRARY!

The Library will be hosting another small works exhibit for the holiday season. This is a unique opportunity for local artists to shine and inspire holiday gift-giving among our community members—after all, what could be more special than a handcrafted piece of art? Make sure to submit your masterpieces by the deadline on Thursday, November 13th; you can find all the submission details at the front desk. And mark your calendars for our exciting welcome reception on Saturday, November 15th from 1:00-2:00 pm, where we’ll come together to celebrate the vibrant local art scene and connect with fellow artists and art lovers.

Hello! I'm thrilled to officially take on my dream job as your Children's Librarian! I've loved being a part of the team since February 2023 (learning from the best: Miss Debbie!) and have been a lifelong lover of children's literature. When I was eight, my mother gave me a diary (based on The English Roses by Madonna) with the prompt, "If you could have dinner with any person (dead or alive), who would it be?" My answer was Beatrix Potter. So, I like to think I was born to be a Children's Librarian. (We'll just ignore the page where I said I wanted to be the lead singer of a rock band when I grew up...) I've found a genuine home in this wonderful library and community, and I'm absolutely thrilled and grateful to share this space with you every day. Stop by and say hello at any time!
