November 22, 2021
We thank God for you, church family! May you feel His love and presence this week as we reflect on His faithfulness and goodness in our lives. Continue to reflect on these quotes from yesterday's sermon on Gratitude:

“We are not grateful because we are happy. We are happy because we are grateful.” - Brother David Stendl-Rast

“What I claim as a right, these people received as a gift; what is obvious to my sophisticated ways was to them a joyful surprise; what I take for granted, they celebrated with thanksgiving, what goes unnoticed became for them a new occasion to say thanks. And slowly I learn that everything that is, is freely given by God in love. All of life is grace – because all is given to us.” - Henri Nouwen

“Rejoice in the Lord always, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer with thanksgiving present yourself to God…and the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.” – Apostle Paul

The church office will close for the week at noon on Wednesday.
Happy Thanksgiving!
