Giving Tuesday is a "global generosity movement." This annual day of giving is Tuesday, November 28th. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, consider making a monthly recurring donation to the Human Services Campus. Examples of how your monthly gift can help people experiencing homelessness include:

• $15 per month provides nearly 400 hot showers for our unsheltered clients.

• $33 per month reunites an individual with family or friends (and 85% of these individuals do not return to homelessness).



• $100 per month keeps one person off the streets by preventing them from losing housing in the first place.

Thank you for considering a monthly gift to HSC; it literally transforms lives. And these gifts qualify for the Arizona State Tax Credit! (up to $421 per individual and $841 per married couple)

An option to attend virtually is also available when you register.

Affordable housing for seniors is a growing problem across the state. In this episode, Amy Schwabenlender, CEO of Human Services Campus, and Jackson Fonder, CEO of UMOM New Day Centers, welcome Matt Kelly, Lead Housing Liaison at Mercy Care, Lauren Lauder, Deputy CEO for Spectrum Healthcare, and Shelly Marquez, President Mountain Plains at Mercy Housing. 

The group delves into why more seniors are becoming homeless and explores a new three-year partnership between Mercy Care and Mercy Housing that aims to ensure seniors have safe and affordable housing.

Also, get an inside look at HSC's bridge housing program and how we assist individuals in transitioning from life on the streets to a new life in housing.
