Don’t miss Frosty Fest on December 6th!
Right after the parade, Rensselaer Parks Department is launching a new community tradition—Mayor Phillips will light the official Christmas tree at beautiful Filson Park! Rensselaer Chamber is partnering with Rensselaer Parks to bring you a fun-filled, festive evening for all ages.
Enjoy holiday favorites including:
• Photos with Santa
• Sweet treats sold by La Trinidad Bakery
• Free hot chocolate compliments of Conagra Brands
• Other snacks by Rensselaer Parks
• Chamber of Commerce wagon rides through downtown
• Ornament Hunt for first 100 children
• Ornament Decorating (create your own ornament with our supplies or bring one from home to hang on the community tree!)
Keep the magic going!
Stroll over to Potawatomi Park to explore the Holiday Tree Trail. From 12–6 PM, you can vote for your favorite tree by donating a non-perishable food item. Every vote helps support the Good Samaritan Food Pantry of Rensselaer.
Stroll through downtown and enjoy our painted windows. There are 100 in all throughout Rensselaer!
Come enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas—see you there!

The parade route has been extended this year in order to end up at Filson Park and Frosty Fest. For parade walking entries, short-cut is through Potawatomi Park if needed.
