Faith in Action
Makes Ordinary Extraordinary

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” I Corinthians 10:31b

Dear Berkeley Hills families,

This week, we celebrate one of my favorite holidays.  Thanksgiving is such a blessed time filled with family, friends, and, of course, good food!

I am so thankful the Lord has allowed me to be a part of your children’s lives . What a blessing to see their smiling faces each day. I pray your Thanksgiving is filled with the goodness of the Lord!

I will thank you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High. Psalm 9: 1-2

Mrs. Hyland
Berkeley Hills Principal
Recess and Cooler Weather
We will continue to go outside for recess in the cooler weather.  Please be sure that your child has the appropriate clothing - jacket, hat, gloves, scarf.
Health Reminder
If your child has been ill, please remember that they should be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to school.
Mrs. Laird Visits Berkeley Hills Chapel

Last week, the Berkeley Hills Campus gave an Eden Family welcome to Mrs. Laird! In chapel, Mrs. Laird reminded students of the importance of listening for God’s voice in their lives. Experiencing that challenge in a real way, students listened for the voice of a friend giving them direction while they navigated blindfolded through an obstacle course with lots of noise in the background. Life can be like that!

We realized that it is easier to hear the Lord when we are quiet. Are we taking the time to listen or are we too busy? The more we know His voice, the easier it is to hear Him clearly even when facing a difficulty.

Thank you, Mrs. Laird!
ACSI Spelling Bee

Eden students were up for the challenge at the ACSI spelling bee in Seneca, PA, and placed in grade levels and the final spell-off!

5th Grade Spelling Bee : Nina Oliver, 1st place; Karissa Eurich, 2nd place; Emily Johnson, 3rd place

6th Grade Spelling Bee : Lila Cook, 3rd place; Jack Nelson, 4th place

Final Spell-Off : Nina Oliver, 2nd place; Jack Nelson, 4th place

Nina and Jack will attend the regional ACSI spelling bee in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Congratulations on your great work!
