If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be revered.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning, more than those who watch for the morning.
O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is great power to redeem. It is he who will redeem Israel from all its iniquities.

The Caring Tree is in the Narthex and Christmas cards with family information and instructions is pasted inside. Please note some cards will have A, B, and C following the family name. This means the family has more than 3 children and we have dividend the children so that shopping can be manageable. However, if you have a card with an A, B, or C, please coordinate with the other EPC shoppers to make sure you are not duplicating gifts or other household items.
The Christmas Angel Ornaments has a name of a resident at Mountain View Personal Care Home. Please note size requested and know that Internet shopping can help you find unique sizes.
Please take one or more requests from the tree and shop and wrap gifts for the December 15th Caring Tree Sunday event.
When you take a card or ornament, please remember to write your name and phone numberon the sign-up sheets next to the tree. This is important information for the Committee.
If you are unable to shop and want to contribute a donation to the Caring Tree, please place a donation in the offering plate or office with the notation it is for Caring Tree. Volunteer shoppers will take cards and ornaments left on the tree after November 28th and purchase items for the recipients.
Instructions are pasted in the cards and on the ornaments for volunteers, but if you have any questions please ask Mary Ann Howard about family cards or Sally McMillan about Personal Care residents or Linda Redman.
Thanks to the generosity of the Eastminster congregation
this is a joyous and meaningful outreach ministry that brings surprising connections.
We feel the Spirit of God at work in our community.
