WATCHING OUR SERVICES ONLINE
IMPORTANT CHANGE!

Our streaming provider has CHANGED and those who watch our services online will no longer be able to watch via Livestream. The simplest way to watch our services is through our website at www.dayspring-umc.org/watch, but there are other options that may better fit your needs.

The livestream will now originate through Vimeo, which purchased the Livestream platform and can be found directly at: vimeo.com/dayspringumc. Look for Dayspring Tempe LIVE at the top of the Videos section. This link will be used to stream ALL our events, which will be archived with the individual event name.

CALLING FOR A CLIMATE FORWARD ARIZONA - TONIGHT! | The Dayspring S.A.G.E. team and Arizona Interfaith Power & Light invite members to join an interfaith gathering at our Tempe campus tonight, November 30, from 6:30 to 8pm to discuss how people of faith can work together to offer a prophetic voice for climate progress right here in Arizona. Guest speaker Blaise Caudill from the Governor’s Office of Resiliency will join us to speak about energy efficiency programs in the state. Attendees will include people from congregations across the Valley, with Zoom participation by others living in Prescott and Tucson. For more information, contact Maureen Rojas or Mark Huntington.

WE NEED A LITTLE CHRISTMAS NOW! | On Sunday, December 3 at 3pm, we’re pulling out all the stops for our new Christmastide tradition—a concert of seasonal music presented by all our choirs: the adult choir, the children’s choir, the youth choir, and the handbells. We’ll have fun activities for all ages, and a chili dinner with cocoa and cookies afterward, so plan to make an afternoon of it! Free admission; voluntary donations to the Dayspring Music Program are appreciated.
|
We host Family Promise, a temporary shelter for homeless families, the week starting December 3. Volunteers are needed to set up, cook, entertain, spend the night, chaperone, and tear down/reset the rooms for Sunday. We have a particular need for after dinner activities. If you’re willing to host a kid craft (or a parent craft!), pamper moms with manicures, lead a karaoke night or yoga session, or decorate cookies or gingerbread houses, we need your help! All creative ideas are welcome. Typically people can join families for dinner or come about 6:30 and offer an activity until about 7:30pm. Email Michelle or look for the table on the patio on Sunday to sign up or ask questions.

Please email Christine Karber with questions.
