POTLUCK SOCIAL BEFORE NOVEMBER 8 PTSA PARENT MEETING

Come and celebrate the last meeting of 2023! Attend a potluck social at 6:15 PM and connect with friends ahead of the 7:00 PM meeting. Sign up here to bring a side dish or dessert.

The meeting will have lots of information to share, and Mr. Hendrickson will give an update about Focus Week.

PE WAIVER HELP: LOCATION UPDATE

Physical Education is a required high school credit in LWSD; ICS does not offer high school PE in any form. Therefore, all ICS students must complete paperwork to waive the PE requirement in order to graduate.

The PTSA has partnered with Ms. Zavala and Coach Vogt to assist students in navigating this process. We are offering study sessions for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders to drop in and receive help answering their questions. Remaining session dates are November 9, 16, and 30 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM. The November 9th meeting is in Coach Vogt's classroom, 16th and 30th are in the Lyceum.

Encourage your students to attend these sessions and complete their waivers! There are three opportunities per year to submit waiver applications and the next deadline is Dec 13. For questions, contact president@icsptsa.org.

VOLUNTEERING

VOLUNTEER NEEDED FOR SENIOR CLASSES' ART DAY

We still need a parent to accompany Mr. Huberman and the seniors on an all-day field trip for their last Art Day at ICS. It will be a fun adventure and a perfect way to close out their ICS Art Day experiences. Contact president@icsptsa.org.

CLUBS & EXTRA CURRICULARS

SKI BUS UPDATE

As the snow starts to fall on the slopes, there are only a few seats left on the Ski Bus going to Summit At Snoqualmie - Alpental on Wednesdays in January and February!

Remember, the signup is open to ICS Students, their siblings AND friends. You can sign up for a series of 6-week lessons (skiing or snowboarding) that are run for our school. Or come to "free ski" on all or some of the ski bus days. Space on the bus is first-come, first-served. Do not delay!

For more information, how to sign up, or ask questions - join the WhatsApp group. Email bbaryshnikov@icsptsa.org for more information.
