Congratulations to our Scholastic Bowl team who competed in the Loyola Tournament on Saturday. Out of the 95 students competing, the top 15 get medals. The following four SES students received medals:

Grace Gilgunn - 3rd place

Joseph Santiago - 8th place

Matthew Kottra - 10th place

Ava Bellina - 11th place


Parent Teacher Conferences are tomorrow. The conferences are by appointment only. If you haven’t signed up yet, please do so as the site will close at 4:00 pm. today. Also, please remember that there is no school Friday due to the archdiocesan professional development day for the teachers.


Recently, the Mount Prospect Village Board passed a new local ordinance governing micromobility devices (e-bikes, e-scooters and e-motos). Our police department and Village is in the beginning stages of education to the community on this new ordinance. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Varsity Girls Volleyball – Congratulations to our 8th Grade girls on winning the 8AA Championship on Sunday at St. Viator! They completed a perfect season with a victory over St. Theresa in the championship game.

 

Our 7th Grade girls also had an outstanding season. They pulled off an incredible upset against the undefeated St. Anne’s team to advance to the championship, where they played their hearts out against a very talented St. James squad.

 

Both teams demonstrated the power of hard work, teamwork, and dedication. We are so proud of you all!


6th – 8th Grade Girls Basketball Registration Open - Registration for 6th – 8th grade girls basketball is still open.

  • The registration fee for all teams is $150 and credit card payments can now be made using TeamSnap. We will also accept cash or checks made payable to St. Emily Athletics.
  • Registration closes on Sunday, November 9.
  • We are still looking for coaches for all levels of girls' basketball. If you are interested, please contact the Athletic Director at eaglesad@stemily.org.

Home Basketball Game Volunteers Needed - St. Emily basketball teams need volunteers to help during home games by managing entry door, concession stand, scorebook, and scoreboard.
