Christmas from Narragansett Schools

While a time for celebration, the holidays can be stressful for many families who are struggling to make ends meet. Once again, the Narragansett School Department and the Jonnycake Center of Peace Dale are partnering to provide gift cards to local families this year.
In Honor of Emily, Narragansett Girl Scouts and Project Undercover are asking for your help to collect as many undergarments as possible for South County's children living in poverty.
The grade that donates the most items will win a Pajama Day & Music at lunch!
Each grade will have a Project Undercover collection box to accept unopened packages of underwear, diapers, onesies and socks for local children in need.
November 1st-November 21st
Or if you would rather make a donation, we will count every $5 donation as 1 package towards your homeroom. Please make checks payable to: GSSNE Troop 80. Thank you.

Dear NPS Parents/ Guardians,

We are looking forward to the upcoming theater season and are excited to announce this years show:  Junie B. Jones Jr.!

Auditions will be Wednesday November 14th and Friday November 16th.

Students will need to bring their audition packet (to be handed out at school), and prepared a portion of a song to sing at the audition. Students will also be required to read scenes from the show, also provided in the audition packet. At auditions, nut-free snacks are encouraged, as well as water. At callbacks on Friday, students will read and sing for parts. In addition to this information I would also like to encourage parents/guardians to read through the entire audition packet. Again, this will be handed out at school.

Caroline Connole Sutherland is a senior at Narragansett High School, and her Senior Project is Assistant Directing/Producing this musical. She will be working closely with students to make this show wonderful. We are happy to have her working with us! More information on this can be found on the last page of the audition form.

Please don't hesitate to contact myself of Caroline with any questions.

Warmest Regards,

Narragansett Theater Department

With the Holidays fast approaching we would love to spread the word about AmazonSmile. From July-September we made $7.73. The percentage they donate is .5% and every little bit helps. FYI***This week only until Fri-November 2nd they donate 5% (5x more).

If you already have an Amazon account its as easy as signing in through . You will then be prompted to select who you are supporting with your purchases. Its as easy as one two three.
*1 Sign into .
*2 When prompted simply type Narragansett.
*3 A list will appear for you to select Narragansett Schools PTO and that's it.
You only have to do that once and every time you think to make any Amazon purchase log in through  and it will already be assigned to the PTO. It's that easy. Please spread the word to your family, friends, teachers, neighbors etc and our next deposit should be something to talk about. Thank you. Marilyn
