Chamber Retail & Restaurant Tree
for The Festival of Trees
A wonderful opportunity for giving this season!
Dear Members,

This year the Chamber is again participating in The Festival of Trees through SHARE via Gatherings at the Colonel Shepard House. We will be creating a Retail & Restaurant Tree to be raffled off during the Festival of Trees event November 25, 26, & 27 at Gatherings at the Colonel Shepard House

Last year many of our members participated and our Retail & Restaurant donations helped raise over $2,000 for SHARE Outreach.
We invite you to participate by donating either a Gift Card or an Item from your business to be part of the Chamber's tree. If your business is not either a Retail shop or a Restaurant, you are still welcome to participate by donating a Gift Card or an Item from a local shop to add to the tree. We encourage you to support one of your fellow chamber member businesses. NOTE: Gift Cards and small items will be hung on the tree, If you are donating a larger item, this will be placed under the tree.
See a full list of chamber members here:  Business Directory Search - GMSVCC, NH

Chamber staff will decorate our tree at Gatherings and all names and logos of all participating member businesses will be shared throughout the entire event as well as promoted through our social media and email campaigns.

If you wish to participate, please let us know by emailing Liz at Items/Gift Cards are due at the Chamber offices no later than Thursday, November 17 by 4 PM.
Our offices are open Mon-Thurs 9 AM-4PM, Fridays by appointment.
If you have any questions, please call us at 603-673-4360.

Almost 1,500 new units to reach market
Concord, NH — On Nov. 2, the Executive Council unanimously approved $49.5 million in grants to 30 affordable housing projects across New Hampshire. Under Governor Sununu’s $100 million InvestNH Initiative, these projects, as part of the $60 million Capital Grant Program, will result in 963 new affordable units and 1470 total units.
“New Hampshire is moving fast to address our housing challenges,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “This initial $50 million investment will create 1,500 new rental units across the state, helping increase supply, drive down costs, and ensure New Hampshire is the best state to live, work, and raise a family.”
“The lack of available and affordable housing in New Hampshire has reached crisis proportions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Department of Business and Economic Affairs Commissioner Taylor Caswell. “We know that to maintain the vibrancy of our economy, we must address this crisis head on. These grants represent one program of several under InvestNH, dedicated toward exactly this purpose.”
The Capital Grant Program is making investments in shovel-ready projects building units that are affordable to individuals or families making 80% or less of the area median income. Located in all 10 counties, these projects range in size from three units to 220 units, and all must be completed within 18 months.
