To coincide with the end of daylight savings time and with the onset of the winter heating season, the province of Ontario designates the first week of every November as carbon monoxide awareness week.

Hundreds of patients were evacuated after a fire broke out at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton . The heavy smoke migrated to occupied areas of the hospital, triggering the evacuation. Full story
