JOG N JAM 10K/5K & Kids Fun Run!

Hi Runners! We're so close to the 2026 FISH JOG N JAM Race, and we can't wait to see you at the starting line on Saturday, November 7! Whether you're running the 5K, taking on the 10K or bringing your little runners for the Kids Run, we're looking forward to a great morning of running, community and fun, all in support of FISH of SanCap! With race day right around the corner, we wanted to share a few details to help you plan.

Know someone who needs to register? Sign up early by visiting the link below! Race Day Registration on site at the Sanibel Community House for 10K/5K will be from 6:15-7:15 a.m.  

Quick Tips

• Arrive early. Roads close at 7:00 a.m.
• Allow extra time for parking and check-in.
• Both the 10K and the 5K support walkers (walkers stay to the right on the course)
• Only service animals are allowed to participate in our event. Pets are not permitted
• There is a toll of $6.00 to cross the bridge to Sanibel.
• Plan on staying on the island to participate in the Show Your Medal promotion!
• Most importantly, come ready to have a great time!

After crossing the finish line, stay and congratulate your favorite runners at our awards ceremony, then cheer our 'little runners' on at our Kids' Fun Run, immediately following the awards presentation. 

The Races: 10K, 5K, Kids Run Logistics

To make your race morning stress-free, we encourage participants to take advantage of pre-race packet pickup! Swing by early to grab your race bib, shirt, and other materials. This quick and easy option will save you time on race day, letting you focus on warming up and enjoying the excitement of the event. Skip the morning lines and start your race off right!

Packet Pick-Up

• November 4 from 8:00am-1:00pm: Sanibel Recreation Center, 3880 Sanibel Captiva Rd, Sanibel, FL 33957
• November 5 from 4:00pm-7:00pm: Adventures in Paradise Outfitters (AIP Outfitters), 2019 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, FL 33957
• November 6 from 1:00pm-6:00pm: Fleet Feet Fort Myers, 13499 S Cleveland Ave Ste 209, Fort Myers, FL 33907
• Day of Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration on site at the Sanibel Community House for 10K/5K will be from 6:15-7:15 a.m.

Location: Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel

Parking is available at:

• Big Arts Strauss Theater, enter off of Periwinkle directly across from the Sanibel Community House
• Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ, 2050 Periwinkle
• Saint Michael's and All Angels Episcopal Church, 2304 Periwinkle

Road closure: 7:00 a.m.

10K and 5K Start: 7:30 a.m.

Awards Presentation: Approximately 9:15 a.m.

Kids Run: Immediately following the awards ceremony

We've got plenty planned before, during and after the races, so stick around and enjoy the morning with us!

Raffle Baskets: Don't miss your chance to enter to win some fantastic raffle baskets filled with donated items, experiences and local favorites! We'll have opportunities to purchase raffle entries before, during and after the races or get a head start by entering online ahead of race day here.

Every entry helps support FISH programs and services. The JAM Basket will be awarded at the race! All others winners will be drawn at the JOG N JAM Concert on December 5. 

Awards & Recognition: We've got some great runner awards lined up! Stick around for our awards presentation as we recognize our top finishers and celebrate everyone's accomplishments.The awards presentation will take place inside the Community House in the Great Room. 

Community & Connections: Take some time to visit with fellow runners, meet our sponsors and supporters, and enjoy the energy of race day. It's a great opportunity to catch up with friends and make a few new ones!

A Little About FISH: We'll have a video playing throughout the morning featuring our wonderful sponsors and supporters, a sneak peek at our upcoming beach concert, and a look at FISH programs and disaster recovery efforts. Take a peek whenever you have a few minutes and see the community support that makes JOG N JAM possible!

Race Results! Results will be posted at the Results Table located inside the Community House in the Great Room.

Participants can also look up race results on the JOG N JAM RunSignup page or via the RunSignUp app by logging into your RunSignUp profile and navigating to 'my registered races'.

Show Your Medal & Stay a While! Your race medal is worth more than bragging rights! After the race, plan to spend some time on the islands and take advantage of our Show Your Medal promotion. Local businesses are joining the JOG N JAM fun by offering special discounts and deals to runners who show their race medals. Grab a bite to eat, do a little shopping and explore the islands while supporting the businesses that support FISH. See a list of participating businesses and their special offers so you can plan your stops!
