Reminder: No School Tomorrow & Early Release 11/14

This is a friendly reminder that there is no school tomorrow, 11/9, due to parent teacher conferences. Additionally, there is an Early Release Wednesday next week on 11/14. Please be sure to update your child(ren)'s dismissal plans and to plan accordingly.
Are you REALLY  'Giving to the Max'?

Last year we raised an impressive $58,885 during Give to the Max. But did you know...We have been able to significantly raise this amount because many of our family donors "maxed" their donations last year by harnessing the power of their employer's matching funds program? Imagine how much more we could have raised with all eligible families using the matching programs! As we enter the final week of Give to the Max, please take advantage of any matching gift programs your employer may have to double your donation's impact! Click here to read more.
Arrival/Dismissal Updates & Call for Volunteers

As we move into daylight savings time and head toward wintry weather, please review the following information on the TCGIS student arrival and dismissal processes. We are also looking for volunteers to help with arrival/dismissal! Click here for more information!
Important! Save the Date!

We've learned there is a special D10 Land Use Committee Meeting on  November 19* at 7 pm at the Como Street Car Station. The agenda is solely about TCGIS's requested building variances. The recommendations stemming from this meeting will be forwarded to D10 Community Council for consideration at their November 20th meeting (save this date too!). *Please note the date has CHANGED.

It's critical we have as many parents and D10 voting residents attend as possible!
Please Come Find Your  Child(ren)'s  Lost Items at Conferences

During conferences all of the lost-and-found items from around the school will be set out on tables in the front foyer. Please come find your child(ren)'s missing items! There are SO MANY jackets/sweatshirts, lunchboxes, water bottles, hats and mittens. Any remaining items after conferences Friday evening will be donated to a local nonprofit.
It's Cold Out! Please Dress Your Child Warmly

Please help your child remember to wear/bring to school appropriate outdoor clothing (coat, gloves, hat, scarf, snow pants, boots) so that they can enjoy the fresh air outside while staying warm! And PLEASE be sure everything is labelled with the student name.
