Senior Thursday Series

Join us on Thursday, November 10th for our Senior Thursday Series with retired US Navy Commander, Sean Fox.

Sean is a Butler County and WSU graduate who was lured by the movie Top Gun to go fly jets in the Navy. He spent 27 years flying both anti-submarine aircraft (S-3B Viking) off aircraft carriers as well as large land-based aircraft (E-6B Mercury) conducting strategic nuclear communications. Sean retired as a Commander in 2011 before starting his second career in city management.

capacity to achieve the impossible."

It's been just a little over a year since I stepped through the doors of the Kansas Aviation Museum as it's Executive Director. We have had a fun and challenging ride. It's been inspiring to hear the stories of so many people who's lives have been impacted by this thing we call flight. I have been blessed to meet incredible people who have been such a help in moving our museum forward.

As we move into the next year, I am excited to see the continued progress of our museum. This is to tell the story of so many great men and women from our communities who have helped shape and change the world. Wichita deserves a First-Class Aviation Museum, and with your continued help, we will keep that ball moving. Thank you for your support and friendship! Here's to many more years.

Sincerely,

Ben Sauceda
