Bringing Paws Together Update
See what's new with our new shelter!
As 2021 draws to a close, we want to update you on the progress of our Capital Campaign, Bringing Paws Together. We're now over 2/3 of the way to our $2.8 million fundraising goal and here are some of the milestones and victories we celebrated this fall:
- We broke ground in August! If you missed the event, be sure to check out this fantastic video by Silver Paw Studio. Now that the weather is getting colder, major construction has been postposed until spring, but we anticipate completion of the shelter by the end of 2022!
- We received a $200,000 grant from Animal Assistance Foundation. Thank you to Animal Assistance Foundation for the $200,000 investment in our Capital Campaign!
- We have a finalized floorplan! If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to visit BringingPawsTogether.org. We can't wait to see this amazing new space and share it with you!
- We received a $10,000 grant from the Zink Community Needs Fund of the Community Foundation! This grant not only recognizes the value of Bringing Paws Together for our Northern Colorado community, it's intended to inspire additional giving! If you would like to make a gift to Bringing Paws Together, donate now!

What's next? Here are a few ways you can get involved with Bringing Paws Together:

Meet Marble!
Marble has made herself an indispensable asset to our Outreach & Volunteer office at our Mulberry Campus. This 3-year-old young adult started her career as an office cat because she doesn't get along with other cats and was timid and unhappy in the shelter. Once she was on her own, however, Marble has started to thrive! She's always eager to help type up an email or have a conversation by the water cooler. Marble has really opened up and has designated herself the office greeter, always the first to say hello to any guests in unit 9. Her special skills include purring, biscuit making, lap warming, and leg rubbing. If you're looking for a sweet girl that works hard and plays hard, Marble is your match!
You can meet Marble in Unit 9 at our Mulberry Campus. You can learn more by calling (970) 484-8516 or complete an adoption questionnaire by visiting our website. If you're not in a place to adopt a special kitty like Marble, you can also donate to support her care!
