Staff Spotlight

Meet Pam Peeples, Technical Services/Cataloger

This October marks 29 years since Pam joined the Allendale Hampton Jasper Regional Library System, and in that time, she’s become an integral part of this system, especially when it comes to cataloging and material processing. But for Pam, libraries have always been a part of her story.

Growing up in Allendale County, Pam and her siblings were regular visitors to the library thanks to their mother’s deep love of books and learning. That early exposure sparked a lifelong appreciation for reading, though it was not until later that Pam realized she could turn that passion into a career! “I had always loved books and libraries,” she recalls, “but I had never considered working in one. Once I started the job, it all just clicked, and I knew I had found my calling.”

New Hours, Endless Possibilities at the Pratt Memorial Library!

We are thrilled to announce that the Pratt Memorial Library has updated its Saturday hours! Join us from 10 AM to 1 PM for Saturday mornings filled with adventure, knowledge, and exploration!

How to Print at the Library:
