Explore the Frozen Zoo!
Winter Break Day Camps are a great experience for your child to learn about animals, conservation, and our wild world.

This year, the theme for all age groups is Frozen Zoo. Campers will spend the day learning learning how animals adapt for winter: what they eat, where they live, and what they do!

Each day camp is designed with games, activities, lessons, animal encounters, and sometimes keeper talks, so your child can learn something new at the Zoo!

December 31, 9 am - 12 pm
$20 members and $25 non-members

January 2, 9 am - 3 pm
$30 members and $35 non-members

January 3, 9 am - 3 pm
$30 members and $35 non-members

Fun for Adults Too!

We have a class for adults this winter too (and keep an eye out for one in February)!

Our adult classes include learning about the natural world through activities, games, talks with Education staff and zoo keepers, and animal encounters. It's a way to experience the Zoo like never before!

This winter, our adults will be learning about the Zoo in winter. Where DO all the animals go? What do they do? Hint: it's not Florida!

Curious Conservationists Class, ages 18+
Sunday, December 8, 2-4 pm
$15 for members and $20 for non-members

Have a Wild Party!

Whether you're planning a kid's birthday party or a big soiree, we've got room for you!

Birthday parties are designed for children 3-12 and are indoor in winter for up to 40 people. To schedule your birthday party, contact the Education Department at (574) 235-7621. For details on what's included, visit our website.

If you're looking to schedule a larger event or corporate picnic next year, we have two outdoor spaces and can accommodate up to 1000 people (sometimes more). Contact Connie Varga, events manager, at [email protected] to schedule an event.
