EPC Chamber visits Washington D.C. for Advocacy Trip

The East Parker County Chamber joined thirty-one North Texas business and civic leaders and traveled to our nation’s Capitol for North Texas Commission’s (NTC) Inaugural Advocacy Trip. The group’s objective was to meet with lawmakers, administration and agency heads to advocate for business issues facing our region and to further promote NTC’s legislative priorities. Can you please help answer two questions....
On my recent trip to Washington D.C., the Legislators asked the North Texas Delegation to ask the business community two specific questions:

1. What rate do you feel the minimum wage should be?

2. Did you know that 500,000 jobs in Texas are unfilled due to the skills gap? With the current skills gap issue across the nation, what jobs are you having trouble filling within your company?

Please email your answers to lisa@eastparkerchamber.com

Thank you!
