Join us this coming weekend for the opening of The Winter Village in Historic Easton!

Get ready to experience our city's newest family-friendly holiday event, the new Winter Village in Historic Easton! Kicking off on Black Friday, November 27, the Winter Village features huts in Centre Square from some of your favorite city retailers and restaurants.

Stroll amongst the huts in the circle under the Peace Candle in the glow of the lights in the trees as you sip on hot cocoa. Enjoy some tasty treats before taking a spin around the ice skating rink. Then continue your shopping at Easton's more than 30 downtown retailers. We encourage you to Shop Small and support Easton's small business retailers this holiday season.

(Face masks and social distancing required for all visitors.)

DATES: Nov. 27 - Dec. 31

DAYS/HOURS OF OPERATION: Fridays and Saturdays - noon - 8 pm; Sundays - noon - 6 pm

Free admission. Open to the public.
Thank you to our event sponsors!

The following local businesses have helped to make our city's event possible by sponsoring a retail hut. We appreciate their support of our new outdoor event!
Support our city's retailers when you Shop Small this holiday season

Our city is starting to look so FESTIVE as our downtown merchants gear up for Small Business Saturday and the start of the The Winter Village in Historic Easton starting on Black Friday at noon.

Thank you to the Easton Main Street Initiative and its many volunteers for helping our businesses dress up their entranceways by providing these beautiful wreaths and fresh greens.

Peace Candle Lighting update

The annual lighting ceremony event for the Peace Candle has been a family tradition for generations. Each year we look forward to welcoming you to Centre Square to kick off the holiday season and to support our small businesses.

Due to limitations on crowd size and group gatherings because of the ongoing pandemic, The City of Easton and the Greater Easton Development Partnership will not be holding a formal event for 2020. We plan to share a video of the lighting ceremony featuring Mayor Sal Panto, Jr. and this year’s Grand Illuminator on the Easton Main Street Initiative Facebook page.

We thank you for your understanding and look forward to resuming our annual tradition in 2021.
New utility billing system coming soon for city residents and businesses

The City of Easton is switching to a new Utility Billing System in November. Please fill out this form if you would like to setup ACH reoccurring payments through your bank account. If you already have an account for ACH, it is necessary for you to reinitiate a new setup, please click on the blue form link above, complete the form and mail it to the address specified on the form.

Your current bill due November 20 will be paid through normal ACH channels. Your December bill will be paid using the new system. If you do not reinitiate a new sign-up, there will be no ACH deduction made in the new system.
Mayor's Executive Order for COVID-19 city building closures to the public

Per Mayor Panto's new Executive Order, all City of Easton public buildings, including City Hall, are now closed to the public effective Monday, November 23.

This is being done to protect city employees in light of the sharp rise in new COVID-19 cases across the state.

Read the Executive Order on the city's web site HERE.

Thank you to DPW and GEDP!

We'd like to thank the staff of the City of Easton's Department of Public Works for their effort in constructing and painting the huts, moving them into place, building the ice skating rink, and prepping the downtown for the event.

And a BIG THANKS to our partners at Greater Easton Development Partnership for all of their hard work helping the city administration plan this event over the past month and run it for the next month.
