Welcome to our LBPD Newsletter!

With the holiday season upon us, it is important to remember more people are driving on our roads completing errands, shopping, and celebrating. As a result, we may see more accidents and crimes that could easily be prevented. We can never be too careful, too prepared or too aware. The LBPD wishes you a safe holiday season and hope you enjoy this edition full of holiday safety tips!

On the Patrol Beat

The LBPD's Gang Investigations Detail has been working to proactively investigate the illegal possession of firearms in effort to decrease firearm related crime in the city. Year to date, over 940 firearms have been seized citywide.

Officers on routine patrol conducted a traffic stop and located hundreds of pills believed to contain fentanyl. One suspect was arrested for transportation & possession for sales of a controlled substance.

Last week, LBPD officers and CSULB “Club Fit” students joined Lincoln Elementary 5th graders for Community Fitness Day! We had a blast getting fit, sharing stories and making new friends with some amazing students. Thanks for the memories Lions!
