Why Look for or Use the BTL Mark?
The BTL Mark is a mark of distinction. It denotes that a product has passed the industry standard BACnet conformance tests conducted by a Recognized BACnet Testing Organization (RBTO). Only products that have been independently tested by an RBTO in accordance with the BTL requirements are eligible to be included in the BTL Listing of Tested Products Database and use the BTL Mark.
Many building owners and control system designers have concluded that the use of products that carry the BTL Mark accelerates and lowers the cost of system integration. As such, it is becoming commonplace for specifications to require a BTL Mark in order to be eligible to bid on a project.

BACnet Presence at Light + Building Show
There will be a large BACnet presence at the Light + Building show, March 13 - 18, 2022, in Frankfurt, Germany.
The BACnet Interest Group - Europe (BIG-EU) is organizing a joint BACnet booth where members can participate and showcase their products and services. The focus of the booth will be on product innovations around the BACnet standard and BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC).
There will also be an Open Building Automation Marketplace next to the BACnet booth, as well as a theater. The Marketplace will showcase new building automation components for digital buildings and in the theater users, suppliers and representatives of open standards will be speaking. More than 50 speakers will be presenting as part of the "OpenBuildingAutomation.live@l+b" Forum, which will offer useful insights into the development of technical equipment for digital buildings. The program will feature short presentations on IT security, BACnet/SC, Lighting Controls, KNX IoT, energy management, cloud solutions and much more.
