This year more than ever, we are thankful for you. As we count our blessings this Thanksgiving, know you are among them. This year has been like no other that our non-profit race has experienced. It's put a halt to in-person events and forced us all to find new ways to stay connected, help each other and stay healthy. As we near the end of 2020, we wanted to pause and say thank you for your support this year. It has meant the world to us!

Interested in volunteering to support the marathon? We'll be talking all things volunteering 5:30 - 6 p.m. Nov. 19 at Volunteer Fox Cities Virtual VolunteerFEST.

VolunteerFEST is a one stop shop to explore volunteer opportunities in the Fox Cities. On the week of November 16 – 20, Volunteer Fox Cities will host Zoom meetings where you can speak with representatives from many agencies who need YOUR help!

Community First Credit Union 37th Annual Santa Scamper benefiting St. Joseph Food Program

Cash the Bear at the 2019 Community First Credit Union Santa Scamper. Rumor has it he's in training for this year already!

Christmas will look different this year in Appleton. The Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade is scaled back and that means the Community First Credit Union 37th Annual Santa Scamper needs to adapt as well.

Instead of a big group run to kick off the parade, participants can run or walk with family and friends whenever and wherever with the virtual offering. What remains the same is the spirit of the event, the support of St. Joseph's Food Program and everyone can add to their Santa Scamper hat collection!

Registration is open through Sunday, Dec. 6. Packet pickup and food donation drop off is at Run Away Shoes locations in Appleton, Oshkosh and Green Bay beginning Dec. 15.

Looking for Santa? Beginning Nov. 24, "Santa Claus is Coming to Appleton" every Tuesday evening until Christmas. Santa's float, accompanied by Appleton Police and Fire Department vehicles, will visit a different section of the City from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Visit Santa2020Appleton.org and follow Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade's Facebook page for more details.

Virtual Rudolph Run presented by Community First Credit Union

Changes are also coming to Future Neenah's annual "A Very Neenah Christmas" tradition.

Join us on Saturday, December 5 for the first ever VIRTUAL Rudolph Run presented by Community First Credit Union. It's not safe to run as a herd of reindeer this year, so run (or walk) the one mile however and whenever you want that day!

Registration is only $5 and you receive a Rudolph Run winter hat.
