Dear PCF Members,
We are well on our way to a new PCF Giving season. We began our year with a very successful and very energetic Black and White Party. Thank you to all who participated. I thank the team that did all the background work for silent, live, 50/50, planning and decorating. I thank our sponsors who were instrumental in helping us reach our goal. I also compliment Richard and his team for "all hands on deck" on the day of set up for mitigation of last minute issues.
We are now receiving memberships both renewed and new. The membership drive is our sustaining drive we rely on every year to help fund our grant recipient pool. Please contact the office (941) 497-4826 or go to our website to give your registration. With that said, we are receiving grant applications and the grant committee is geared up to begin the vetting process January - March.
We will be having our annual Holiday Giving Drive from now until Monday December 16th. We are asking for gift cards from Walmart, Target, Publix as well as Gas cards. We accept cash and checks also. Our three charities are; Awaken Church, Center of Hope and Family Promise. These three organizations are the last stop for many of their clients. They receive requests for help daily. There is a great need for food, housing and healthcare. Can you please help? If so, please bring your donated cards to the PCF office. If it is closed, slide it under the door and we will take care of it. Thank you in advance for your support.
Our Platinum Sponsor, Reflections in Gold, is hosting their Annual Christmas Party Thursday December 5th from 6 - 9 pm. No need to buy jewelry. This is their way of saying thank you to their customers.
Tickets are now available for our Royal Ride Raffle. Only 100 tickets are being sold and the winner will get the use of a Golf Cart or $1800 off trail fees for all of 2025! See details below on how to get tickets. Drawing is December 16th.
The Annual meeting for all PCF members will be January 13th 2025 at 1:00. All are invited. Following the Annual meeting the board will select its leadership team for the year.
I wish you all a Blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas Season.
